ADX sees mixed performance with gains and losses among listed companies
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a mixed performance today, with the advance decline ratio at 0.68x. Out of the 99 listed companies, 40 advanced while 59 declined. The ADX Caps index also experienced a slight decrease of 0.01%.
The top gainers on the ADX were RAPCO Investment PJSC, Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries, and National General Insurance Co., with gains of 14.56%, 13.45%, and 11.11% respectively. On the other hand, the top losers were Al Mal Capital REIT, Orascom Construction Plc, and Sudatel Telecom Group Ltd., with losses of -9.35%, -8.11%, and -6.86% respectively.
Only one sector managed to advance today, while one sector declined. The top losing sector was the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, which saw a decrease of 0.01%. This was reflected in the overall market performance, with the ADX trading at 9,259.23 with a loss of -1.28 points or -0.01%.
In terms of market capitalization, the top large cap gainer was Ghitha Holding PJSC with a gain of 4.83%, while the top mid cap gainer was Dubai Taxi Co. PJSC with a gain of 4.49%. The top small cap gainer was Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries, which also appeared as one of the top gainers overall.
On the other hand, the top large cap loser was Burjeel Holdings Plc with a decrease of -3.40%, while the top mid cap loser was Al Seer Marine Supplies & Equipment Company PJSC with a decrease of -4.51%. The top small cap loser was Orascom Construction Plc, which also appeared as one of the top losers overall.
