ADX sees mixed trading session with slight dip and top gainers and losers
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a mixed trading session today, with the advance decline ratio standing at 43 advances and 42 declines, resulting in a ratio of 1.02x. The ADX Caps index also experienced a slight dip of 0.35%, trading at 9,391.83 with a loss of -33.10 points.
In terms of top gainers, Aram Group Co. led the pack with an impressive 11.11% increase, followed by Phoenix Group Plc with a gain of 7.67%. Abu Dhabi National Co. for Building Materials also saw a significant rise of 6.82%. On the other hand, Al Khaleej Investment PSC was the top loser, experiencing a decline of 10.00%, followed by Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co. PJSC with a loss of 9.98%. Emirates Investment Bank also saw a dip of 9.52%.
In terms of market capitalization, Phoenix Group Plc was the top large cap gainer with a 7.67% increase, while Bayanat AI Plc led the mid cap category with a gain of 1.83%. Amanat Holdings PJSC was the top small cap gainer, rising by 2.86%. On the other hand, Dubai Investments PJSC was the top large cap loser, experiencing a decline of 6.53%. Al Yah Satellite Communications Co. PJSC and Dana Gas PJSC were the top mid cap and small cap losers, with losses of 2.35% and 6.03% respectively.
In terms of sectors, only 1 sector advanced today while 1 sector declined. The top losing sector was the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, with a decline of 0.35%. This mixed market performance can be attributed to various factors such as global economic uncertainties and fluctuations in oil prices.
